PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

AS220 Community Studios
Studio Manager                                              
Providence, RI
December 2020 - December 2022

Responsible for managing membership systems, resource usage and engaging membership at the AS220 Industries: a makers’ space containing a darkroom, printshop, fabrication lab, woodshop and media arts lab in downtown providence. The Industries currently has 125 active members. I ensure each receive the support they need to gain access to the facilities through training or skills assessment. I manage our facilities booking system, coordinate mechanical repairs as well as host community events to build camaraderie and encourage networking amongst our members.

Conducting professional photo-shoots with newborn babies, in-hospital. Responsible for the safety of the newborn, designing the shoots (selecting props, swaddles, backdrops to create a visually coherent image), as well as selling the photographs to the parents of the baby. Images are printed and delivered in-hospital
